Live Green CT!

We had a great time meeting so many new people at the Live Green CT! Event in Norwalk a couple of weeks ago. We were featuring our Organic skin care lines to introduce our Organic day spa to the public.

NYR Organic is the leading organic skin care line in the United Kingdom since the 1970s. They are well known for their efforts to develop effective and holistic skin care products while having the least amount of impact on the planet.

We also featured the new Biodynamic skin care line from Eminence Organics.

Did you miss the event? Well let me show you around...

It was really nice to run into my friend, Anthia. She's the owner of Urthchild.com, a site devoted to organic, safe, and eco-friendly products for you and your child. I should've assumed she'd be at this event, because she's currently renovating her home in Darien to be completely eco-friendly. No carbon footprint at all. She told me about...

...Trillium Architects, who helped her create a plan for her home renovation vision.

Kids were encouraged to Think Green!

Sydney Waitekus, visiting the event with her family from Massachusetts, caught a big wave...

My favorite herb gardens, Gilberties, was on site with a truly lovely display of plants. I picked up some new dried lavender for the spa. I just love lavender.

Plenty of fresh fruit and food was available.

I couldn't get enough of the raspberry lemonade at the booth of Taste, by Karla Sorrentino.

...The Fairfield Green Food Guide is a great resource in the area. They also sponsored an event I thoroughly enjoyed back in the spring, Food for Thought.

There was an outstanding performance on the main stage by Sarah Chesler. I loved her music and her voice.

Gorgeous jewelry by Pam Older Designs.

And some of my favorite places in the area for wellness services:

...The Magdalane, Norwalk, offers reflexology and Ayurveda therapeutic treatments.

Arogya has a wonderful tea shop and yoga studio in Westport.

I caught pieces of Dr. Ballard's presentation about the health of our oceans. Really fascinating.

And not one, not two, but THREE Tesla's which I was able to drool over! I look forward to the future of transportation if the automobiles are as good looking as these.

It was a beautiful weekend and an event that was worthy of participation. I look forward to attending next year as well.
