It's time to euthanize what's left of my herb garden.
This time of year always makes me blue. The daylight hours are shortening. It's flannel PJ season.
The prospect of not seeing my beautiful green babies waving at me in the summer breezes for another eight months or so is a bummer. I'll miss them so. I'm going to try a preserve their goodness through the winter by drying them.
Sage and Rosemary are excellent additions to hearty winter recipes.
I'll smile and remember you warmly, my little babies.
