
It's that time of year again! The annual Live Green Connecticut Festival at Taylor Farm Park in Norwalk, September 17 and 18!

The Live Green Connecticut! festival is at Taylor Farm Park in Norwalk, Connecticut, September 17th and 18th. This year, there are an exciting mix of featured attractions and exhibits including marine ecology and nature center exhibits, wind and solar displays, hands-on kid’s activities, environmental and conservation organizations and speakers, alternative fuel vehicles, landscape and garden centers, green careers and education, eco-art, eco-fashion, entertainment, food and beverages, and so much more!
Last year, Aetheria Spa showcased our Organic Skin care lines. It was an excellent two-day festival featuring many of Connecticut's best innovations for helping us live better lives in balance with the Earth's resources. I'm sure this year will be even better! Don't miss it!
Music performances on Saturday include:
11:00 am The Trummytones will be performing in the children's area at 11am. The Trummytones fuses tuba, drums, accordion and Vinny Nobile's high energy performance into an organic acoustic pop zydigo and reggae fun for all ages.
12noon Sarah Chesler will be returning for her 2nd straight year. Her music
draws heavily from alternative pop with jazz influences. Sarah is a
treasured artist and her remarkable band is a local favorite throughout
Fairfield County and beyond.
1:00pm Rhythm & Blues Guitarist Al Smith. Al's voice and extraordinary guitar
playing will simply 'wow' the crowd. From original music to 'covers', Al
Smith does it like no other, he's a musical genius. Once you hear Al, you
will become an instant fan.
2:00pm Run on the Sun. Run on the Sun's music is an “uber” sweet piano pop
rock band influenced by Coldplay, The Beatles and The Fray. Get ready to
rock with Run on the Sun!
3:00pm Norwalk native Scot Albertson. Vocalist Scot Albertson & Trio will feature Jazz Pianist Joe Utterback & Flutist Mayu Saeki from NYC. Scot recently released his 5th CD, "Vibination", which has garnered unprecedented accolades in the world of jazz. Scot and his trio are well on
the way to becoming musical legends so his performance at Live Green CT! is a must see performance!
Music performances on Sunday will include:
Darien native Sarah McGowan will be performing at 12 Noon on Sunday, September 18th. Her music has been described as "sweet, with an edge." Performing a medley of original and cover songs, she will be accompanied by her band, aptly called 'The Sweet Edge.'
P.J. Pacifico will be giving a special acoustical performance on Sunday, September 18th P.J.delivers a confident, upbeat collection of road-tested rock/pop music. With a radio-friendly sound that evokes Gin Blossoms and Matthew Sweet, and a storyteller's cadence that has been compared to James Taylor, Pacifico appears poised for mainstream.
There will be plenty of fun and educational activities to keep your kids engaged as well:
· Woodcock Nature Center nature exhibit
· Petting Zoo featuring goats, lambs, pot belly pigs, baby chicks, bunnies and more
· Curious Creatures' educational live animal show featuring turtles, lizards,
geckos, bearded dragons, snakes and more
· Author Jeanine Behr Getz and her book 'Kids Think Big!'
· Planet Fuel organic juices with for kids
· Norwalk Maritime Aquarium will be exhibiting
· The Trummytones will be performing music for kids
· Audubon Greenwich will be exhibiting
· The Farmer's Cow will be selling their delicious ice cream
· Faces by Wells Face Painting
· Front Yard Coop, the eco-friendly mobile Chicken Coop
