This photo, by Starwitness, was submitted to a photography competition a few weeks ago over at one of my favorite blogs. It didn't win, but I've been thinking about his whiskers ever since. Whiskers are definitely something worth appreciating in the moment.
Of course, we all love. We love our children. We love our pets. We love sunny days. We love rainbows after a storm. But think of all the little things in each and every moment that is worth our appreciation. It helps us live in the moment. It helps us gain perspective in a world that is out of focus.
"I love... (Mondays)" was created to acknowledge the little things in everyday life that I appreciate. I encourage you to join in and do the same. Maybe it's a picture, piece of art, a poem, a quote, a video clip, music, a story, a feeling...whatever inspires you in the moment.
