It’s a bittersweet day here at Aetheria Spa… Our fabulous massage therapist and acupuncturist, Sarah, is finally moving to Maine to fulfill her lifelong ambition. If you’ve ever visited Maine, you can understand her desire to live amongst the beautiful trees, glorious fjordes, and down-to-earth wisdom of the Maine people. We’ve always known she would be moving someday, but it was always “someday,” not “next month.”
Sarah came to work at Aetheria over five years ago and in that time, many of our clients have grown to love her for her excellent massage therapy skills and dedication to alleviating chronic pain. She’s personable, sweet, and always focused on the long-term care of our clients. Always the one to pursue advanced studies in alternative healthcare practices to expand her skills, she became a licensed acupuncturist last year. Many of our clients have experienced positive results from her unique style of acupuncture.
It goes without saying that we are very sad to see her leave. She has been a fundamental part of the Aetheria culture since the early days of our existence. But we would be remiss if we didn’t confess our joy over the infinite potential she possesses as she takes on this new adventure. We know – with confidence – she will be successful in all of her future endeavors.
Yet when a door closes, a window opens. Literally! Because she maintains significant personal ties to the Fairfield County area, she will be returning often to visit for a “window” of several days. And since she can’t stand to be away from her treasured Aetheria family for too long, she will be taking limited appointments by request during her visits.

Throughout the month of May, she will maintain her regular schedule, Tuesdays through Saturdays (except Thursdays) until May 28, 2011 (her last day here). If you haven't had a chance to visit us recently, please be sure to give us a call at 203.966.6650 to schedule an appointment with her before she gets away! Appointments will fill up fast!
