Spa-zzled? Giving Spa Treatments as a Gift

The Holiday shopping season has begun, and I can't think of a better gift this year than a relaxing, rejuvenating massage. Does anyone really need more stuff? Wouldn't it be much nicer to receive a gift of a little peace and pampering to escape from all the stresses we face these days?

Alas, not everyone thinks like I do about the benefits of massage therapy. It may be difficult to comprehend, but there are some people who are just not comfortable with a stranger touching them. It's just too personal and awkward.

So at this time of year, when orders for gift certificates become more and more frequent, we try to guide our clients toward the best spa service to meet their friend's needs and comfort level. Does he or she like to spa? Has the person had a massage or facial before? If so, did they enjoy it?

Not sure? No worries. We can always provide a gift certificate for a spa dollar amount, or be non-specific about the spa service being gifted. For instance, most of our treatments are available in 60, 75 or 90 minute session lengths, so we can simply have the gift certificate read "Any 75 minute spa treatment of choice." This way, the recipient can choose a treatment with which they would feel most comfortable!
